Barb Kiborn enjoys scouring the web for fresh inspiration, and sharing on social media.

A computer hobbyist, she worked in web administrative roles for organizations like the Interior Designers Institute of British Columbia-Canada.

Over the past decade, she has performed a variety of tasks involving fundraising, event coordination and project scheduling.

A native Vancouverite, Barb works behind-the-scenes to support the web team, and helps coordinate the organizing of events.

She is a foodie at heart, enjoys tasting and photographing food from around the world.

Multimedia Associate
Jeff Tso began his career working in various capacities for top market radio stations, and later transitioned to television – working for Shaw Media, Rogers Media and S-Vox- to hone his multimedia skills.

His broadcasting experience spans from producing and directing live telecasts to field productions globally.

Jeff is actively involved in all creative aspects of production including audio and visual elements for NAAC and affiliates, Nikao Media and GlobalEAT Network. He also the producer of the Silk Road Festival.

An avid techie, he leverages the ever-evolving technology landscape – seeking new ideas to improve and create compelling stories that engage and inspire the audience.

Creative thinking, visual and musical aesthetics are his forte. His calm, patient and positive demeanour – and helpful attitude makes clients feel at ease in challenging circumstances.

Jeff takes time to keep clients on track and focus on meeting their deadline. His ability to go above and beyond client expectations makes him a valuable asset to the team.

Multicultural Consultant
Stephanie Yuen is a seasoned communications professional, food and wine consultant. She brings many years of valuable experience and knowledge to the company in the areas of multicultural marketing; food and beverage consulting; promotion and publicity, and event management.

An influential spokesperson, Stephanie has worked on multicultural promotions for many organisations including Loblaws and Dairy Farmers of Canada. A self-taught chef, she loves food and considers cooking, a ‘delicious therapy’.

Stephanie’s passion and food expertise led her to consult with grocery chains and hospitality clients in recipe and menu development. Her multi-talented skills have also gained her appointments as food culture ambassador, food and wine judge, and book author.

Book publisher, Douglas & McIntyre commissioned her to author East Meets West: Traditional and Contemporary Asian Dishes from Acclaimed Vancouver Restaurants. The mouth-watering recipe book was a finalist for the Taste Canada – Food Writing Award.

A media personality herself, Stephanie knows what it takes to create an effective media event. As a veteran journalist, Stephanie writes for many English and Chinese language newspapers, magazines and websites including her blog, beyondchopsticks.com. She has also appeared on countless radio and television shows, and is a food, wine and travel columnist of AM1470 Fairchild Radio.

The doyenne of Asian cuisine, she is instrumental in co-founding the Chinese Restaurant Awards in Vancouver, Canada. Her work has brought her on many travel adventures throughout Canada, U.S., Europe and Asia.

European Associate
Carlo Zarri has extensive tourism and hospitality experience, and brings a wealth of expertise in the field of rural tourism, food and beverage, event development as well as management.

In his 25 years as a tourism and hospitality practitioner, Carlo has served in a variety of key roles including consultancy and management positions in several tourism organisations, Food and Beverage Advisor to the XX Winter Olympic Games organizing committee and Director for Italian Foodservice Logistics for the USA Pavilion at EXPO MILANO 2015.

He is known for being a leader, team builder and a pragmatist; insightful, cheerful and personable. Carlo’s leadership qualities and expertise is widely respected by his peers and community. His commitment to excellence and creativity shows in his work.

Carlo believes in stretching his comfort zone, trusting his abilities and the people around him, so together, they can reach new heights. A graduate of the Technical Institute for Tourism “Giacomo Leopardi” in Bergamo (BG)-Italy, he also studied marketing and communication in Portland (ME)-USA, and tourism specialization in London-UK.

He speaks fluent Italian, English, German and French. His work has taken him to countries in Africa, Asia, Americas, Australia and Europe.

Multilingual Carlo is also a hotelier, an award winning chef and sommelier and has catered for famed clients like actress, Sophia Loren and fashion designer, Georgio Armani. His cooking won praise from both the worldwide media, and his guests.
