Frieda He has over 19 years of experience in teaching Chinese languages and business culture courses to university and college students(from entry level to the advanced level), as well as lawyers, mortgage managers, realtors, chief executive officers, corporate and government officers both in Japan and Canada. She is fluent in Mandarin, English and Japanese.

She has independently designed and delivered Business Mandarin Courses to law firms, business corporations and the University of British Columbia (UBC) Continuing Studies division.

One of the above- mentioned courses was recommended by the Globe and Mail Report on Business in the Executive Education Guide in 2005. Frieda has also been a Mandarin instructor for UBC Continuing Studies over the last 10 years.

In 2008, Frieda was selected as a Mandarin Coach for Hollywood movie actor Keanu Reeves for the movie “The Day the Earth Stood Still” and she received Production Credits as a Chinese Dialect Coach in New York Times Review.

Teaching is Frieda’s life, she has been using effective teaching methodologies in her class to motivate and engage her students/participants and make Mandarin learning a fun experience.

As a cross-cultural coach, she has helped many business owners establish their business connections in China and Japan. She also uses the online teaching tool Moodle in her class and for online teaching.
